Great Ideas!
Congratulations to Jason Huffman of Richmond, VA, who submitted the following Great Idea suggestion that will soon be implemented. Jason wrote:
"Of all the features on here, I am surprised that the expiration date (or 'no expiration date') information is not listed as you add your cards. It would be a lot easier if that information was included in your inventory instead of having to search by vendor. Thanks!"
We, too, thought this would make it easier for our registered site users who take advantage of the gift cards management aspect of the site (found in MY GIFT CARDS). Once this feature is added, when you select an entry from one of the 1000+ retailers found in our GIFT CARD REPORT CARD data base, a link to their detail page on the GIFT CARD REPORT CARD will be available for easy access, posted next to your entry. You can then easily search the most current Terms & Conditions we have on record for each of these national or regional retailers. PLEASE NOTE: the Terms & Conditions for the retailer may change, but that does not always mean these new Terms & Conditions will apply to a previously-issued gift card or gift certificate in your possession and recorded in your personal account.
Jason, for his Great Idea, has selected to receive one $50.00 value TARGET Gift Card, and one $50.00 value T.J. Maxx Gift Card. Keep those Great Ideas coming in, Jason!
Congratulations to Kim Mullaney of Chesapeake, Virginia, who submitted the following Great Idea for us to expand the size of the entry field box on many of the User Participation responses ("Fix It" form, "Great Idea" submissions, etc.). Here are Kim's coments:
"By the way, this box is only about 2 inches wide and 1 inch high - way too hard to write anything in here!"
It was such a Great Idea (and so simple...we should have thought of it!). So, we expanded the size of the entry fields to make it easier for Users like you to read what you are writing! Because we implemented her Great Idea, Kim was eligible to receive a $100.00 value gift card from the retailer of her choice. Kim selected a $100 Gift Card from a Hallmark Gold Crown store (www.hallmark.com), which she promptly donated to her church to use in the purchase of greeting cards ("cheer up," "get well," "congratulations," and condolence) for the church to send to members and others in prayer-ful concern.
We encourage others to review all aspects of our web-site and submit your own Great Idea. Who knows? Maybe, you, too, could end up $100.00 richer!
